Assignment 2:Curves

Sensuous impulse design can be shown by using bright colors and combining different shape lines. These kind of design can be seen in Rococo and Art nouveau style. The main idea of these two styles were using a lot of curves lines to create some complex images. They looks soft and beautiful. The sensuous impulse design was also shown in contemporary design as well. The difference between the historical design is that there is no more complexity. Looking at the keyboard which is designed by using soft and big curves. This design is very comfortable when we using it also the mouse. More and more designs would like to using this kind of curves to making the users comfortable.

Assignment 1:Start of design thinking

Design can be shown everywhere in our life. It could be huge as an office building or small as a pair of ear rings. No matter how or where it exists, it is the symbol of beauty and wisdom. I like this design from Len Lye. The reason why I think it is impressive is that this design can be shown the variable shapes by shaking water when the winds goes different speeds. It was combined the natural element with science and I think it is the charms of design.
